Program Details

This is the last of the Beginner Levels. This level builds on the last levels and provides the last few basic elements before skaters branch out into figure skating or hockey. Skills such as forward crossovers, backward one foot glides, and moving two-foot turns are included in this level. After completing, the skater will be able to move on to the hockey program, figure skating program, or choose to work with one of our coaches in private or semi-private lessons.

Designed for: Adult skaters who have mastered all of the skills from Beginner Level 1 and Beginner Level 2.

Prerequisites: Beginner Level 1 and Beginner Level 2

Skills Learned:
  • Backwards half-swizzle pumps
  • Forward half-swizzle pumps
  • Two-foot turns moving
  • Forward crossovers
  • Backward one foot glides
  • Backwards outside edges on a circle
  • Backwards inside edges on a circle

  • Class includes free skate rental
